Clueso x Elif – Mond (Music Video)

For the official music video for „Mond,“ a collaboration between Clueso and Elif, we were commissioned to build a visual bridge between live performance and digital worlds. Working closely with Döhring Agency (Concept & Direction), as well as the teams from LED Cave Berlin and MOO Video (Camera Tech), we designed a production that blurs the lines of traditional music video aesthetics through the use of high-end virtual production.

Unreal Art Direction

The heart of the project was the work within an immersive LED cave. Instead of relying on classic green-screen methods, we realized the video in a digital ecosystem that merges light and space in real time. Our primary role was the Unreal Art Direction: we were responsible for designing the virtual sets within Unreal Engine to create a seamless, atmospheric environment that visually translates the song’s melancholic tone.

Scenic Supervision

Beyond that, we acted as supervisors on the physical set. We consulted on the selection and scaling of physical props and special effects to ensure a perfect symbiosis between the real floor construction and the virtual horizon line. Our responsibilities also included optimizing the shooting schedule and scene timing to fully exploit the potential of real-time technology under live conditions.

B-Roll Assets

To support the depth of the digital spheres, we produced additional B-roll assets, including the title typography and a highly detailed exoplanet.

The Team

A project of this scale—with an extremely tight schedule and complex technical requirements—thrives on the synergy between departments. Together with a host of highly specialized and talented artists and technicians, we created a visually stunning piece in a very short window. Despite the high pressure of the tight deadline, the collaboration remained harmonious, friendly, and exceptionally goal-oriented, with the entire team ready to go the extra mile for the final frame.
It was a blast for everyone involved
