In Flames – Rise from the North Tour 2024
For the 2024 „Rise from the North“ tour of Swedish metal pioneers In Flames, our team was tasked with translating the visceral power of Melodic Death Metal into a high-precision, architectural stage concept. Known for their exacting standards in lighting aesthetics and timing, In Flames required a bespoke construction that met these elite demands.

Lighting Design
The centerpiece of the stage design was a multifunctional, massive custom riser and a 6.5-meter tall inflatable Jester—the band’s iconic mascot and fan favorite.
Integrated Lighting Matrix:
More than just a platform for the drums and keyboards, the riser served as the show’s technological heart. We integrated a massive wall of fixtures directly into the riser’s chassis.

Visual Impact
This placement allowed for high-intensity light pulses to be fired from the center of the stage, creating a „visual pressure wave“ that synced perfectly with the band’s riffs and drums.
Since In Flames tours globally, the design was engineered for modularity from the start.

Tour Versatility:
The set was adapted into various configurations for both the US tour and major European festivals in 2025.
Brand Consistency:
This modular approach ensured that the visual identity of the show remained intact, regardless of the stage size or venue constraints.
A project of this magnitude thrives on communication. The entire production was developed in close coordination with frontman Anders Fridén.

Lighting & Programming
Intensive Workshops
The collaboration was exceptionally hands-on. Anders Fridén spent two days at our headquarters to personally refine every detail of the lighting dramaturgy and set design.
Emotional Depth: This synergy between the artist and our design team guaranteed that every lighting sequence mirrored the emotional intensity and aggression for which In Flames is celebrated worldwide.

Precision Lighting Design
In the world of In Flames, lighting isn’t just an effect—it’s a metronome.
Contrast & Atmosphere: By combining the massive riser lighting with a dynamic overhead rig, we created an atmosphere that shifted seamlessly between dark intimacy and blinding arena moments.
Rhythmic Synchronization
Every cue followed the principle of absolute precision, acting as a visual extension of the band’s musical timing.
